- The historical performance "Cathedral Square" was seen by about 15 thousand spectators

The screening of the historical play "Cathedral Square" was completed in the capital's Moskino. This production was the first fully theatrical project realized in the film park. Despite the cold weather, its 50 screenings gathered full stands of spectators. In total, about 15 thousand people became part of the project. About it on February 24 reported the portal mos.ru.
The play immersed the audience in the history of the XVII century, in the era of the Time of Troubles. The country, surrounded by enemies and traitors, needed allies, and the victory was brought by the power of faith. Conspiracies and rebellions plunged the state into crisis, and Polish-Lithuanian troops were invading from the west. Victory came thanks to the unity of the leaders of the militia - merchant Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, who, under the protection of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, heroically defended the interests of the Motherland.
"We worked for a family audience and spoke to them in a lively, modern and accessible language. All the more valuable is the reception that the visitors gave to the play. The full houses for two months speak for themselves", - said the director of the play, artistic director of the New Theater Eduard Boyakov.
On different days the performance was attended by stars of theater and cinema, including Dmitry Pevtsov, Elena Zakharova, Valery Nikolaev, Ekaterina Guseva, Leonid Yakubovich, Anna Bolshova, Olga Kabo and other artists.
Artistic design of the performance was done by Alexander Tsvetnoy, Ivan Rudnev, Alisa Melikova and Kirill Golotsvan. The choreography was choreographed by Nikita Moshkov, and the script was written by Alexey Zenzinov and Valentin Klementiev. Historical details, movie techniques and fairy-tale characters gave the performance a modern and dynamic sound.
Moschino Film Park is part of the Moscow film cluster, which includes 18 full-scale sites, pavilions and sets of different historical epochs. This project, implemented as part of Sergei Sobyanin's MoscowCity of Cinema project, offers a wide range of opportunities for film production.
