Emerald signs appeared under the letters "M" at the stations of the Troitskaya metro line

Emerald stripes have appeared near the letters "M" at the stations of the Troitskaya line of Moscow subway. This was told by Maxim Liksutov, the capital's deputy mayor for transport and industry, on February 23.

"We have developed new standards for welcoming navigation elements. We have placed more than 1.1 thousand color indicators. They are located under the letter M and prompt passengers to which line belongs to this or that entrance," - the agency of city news "Moscow" quotes Liksutov .

In addition, door stickers and signs above the entrance with large pictograms of lines will help passengers to orient themselves.

Thus, at the station "Novomoskovskaya" of Sokolnicheskaya line the final stage of installation of navigation elements has passed. Now at its four entrances the letter "M" is decorated with wide red and narrow emerald stripes.

The work was carried out at a height of five meters. Before that, specialists removed the red pasting, which was applied at the opening of the station in 2019, writes the website kp.ru.

On February 21, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin said that in the next few years in Moscow plan to further improve the railway connection. Seven Moscow city stations and one Leningrad station will be built and reconstructed, writes RIAMO.

At the same time the official said that 31 more metro stations will be built in Moscow until 2030.

In January, Vladimir Efimov said that about 4.9 km of subway tunnels were built in the capital in 2024. In total, more than 130 km of tunnels have been laid for the capital's subway since 2019, reports NSN.

At the end of December, Sobyanin opened three new stations as part of the Troitskaya metro line: "Novomoskovskaya", "Kommunarka" and "Kornilovskaya", notes 360.ru.
