Telegram may be charged 4 million rubles for false information


Telegram may be charged a debt of 4 million rubles due to the publication of inaccurate information about the Russian military. This became known from court materials on February 24.
According to TASS, bailiffs received materials on the unpaid Telegram fine from the magistrate in the Tagansky district of Moscow. The management of the messenger is accused of failure to fulfill the order of Roskomnadzor. So far, the owner of Telegram has fallen only under the administrative article and may get off with a fine.
Earlier, on February 22, the debt of Google LCC under the decisions of Russian judges exceeded 21.5 billion rubles. In addition, the company must also pay an enforcement fee of Br220 thousand.
