The deputy named the ways to get a Moscow pension

In order to receive a Moscow supplement to the pension one should have permanent registration in the capital for at least 10 years and receive a pension in Moscow. This was stated on February 24 in a conversation with "Gazeta.Ru" by Deputy of the Moscow Municipal Duma and head of the Union of Pensioners of the Moscow region Anatoly Nikitin.
According to him, this additional payment is intended for non-working pensioners, if their income is below the subsistence minimum. In this case, the amount is brought to the established level or the city social standard. Self-employed pensioners and those who receive income from shares, deposits or real estate rent are also entitled to the supplement.
Nikitin noted that some working pensioners may also qualify for the payment. For example, if their average monthly income does not exceed Br20 thousand, they can be assigned compensation up to the city social standard. In addition, pensioners working in state and municipal institutions, housing and communal services, disabled people of group III, liquidators of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident and other categories approved by the Moscow government can receive a supplementary payment.
The deputy said that the surcharge can be issued through the MFC or apply on the portal mos.ru.
In 2025, the minimum pension for non-working pensioners who have lived in Moscow for more than 10 years is 25.8 thousand rubles per month. For those whose length of residence in the capital is less than 10 years, the pension is set at the level of the subsistence minimum - 17.9 thousand rubles.
Earlier, the head of the State Duma Committee on Property Sergei Gavrilov said that there are many benefits for pensioners in Russia, including tax deductions for land tax and free gas to the plot.
