Experts told about profitable domestic destinations for spring vacations

According to the research of the Bronevik.com platform, which is part of the MTS ecosystem, in March-May 2025 the most budgetary early bookings of tourist accommodation are made mainly in the southern regions of Russia. The statistics was reviewed by "Gazeta.Ru" on February 24 .

It is noted that among popular destinations the most budget accommodation is recorded in Mineralnye Vody: here a night in a hotel costs an average of Br3.2 thousand. The city is known as a transport hub for travelers heading to the resorts of Caucasian Mineral Waters - Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Zheleznovodsk and Essentuki. The latter also entered the top 10 affordable tourist destinations, taking the seventh place with an average check of 3.9 thousand rubles.

The second place in the rating is occupied by Astrakhan, where the average cost of accommodation in spring amounted to Br3.6 thousand per night. In April, warm weather is already established here, and the city attracts tourists with architectural sights, rich fish cuisine and the beginning of a new fishing season.

In third place is Rybinsk in the Yaroslavl region with an average price of Br3.7 thousand per night. The city is known for its historical architecture of the XVIII-XIX centuries, picturesque embankments and a collection of pre-revolutionary signs. Besides, in spring it becomes a popular place for fishing lovers just like Astrakhan.

In Russia as a whole, the average check for early spring bookings amounted to 6.2 thousand rubles per night, which is 10% higher than a year earlier. Most travelers (75%) choose hotels and mini-hotels, 6% prefer apartments, and 5% stay in guest houses.

"Despite the continuing rise in the cost of hotel services, especially in popular destinations, our country has many interesting locations with affordable prices for vacations. And Russians are visiting them more and more actively, including in the off-season, when prices go down. For hoteliers from such budget locations are now favorable conditions to maintain a stable load and revenue", - said Marina Goncharenko, an expert of Bronevik.com platform.
