- BM-21 "Grad" MLRS launchers destroyed AFU infantry in the border area of the Kursk region

BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Tula Airborne Troops have struck and destroyed a concentration of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in several border areas of the Kursk Region. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on February 24.
"Having received the coordinates of a group of AFU infantry trying to gain a foothold in a wooded area, the calculation of Grad MLRS of artillery paratroopers with an accurate salvo of a package of rockets covered the specified square, destroying the enemy infantry." Images of objective control received from UAVs in real time confirmed the destruction of targets," the Defense Ministry said.
The ministry said that artillery paratroopers of the rocket artillery division are on combat duty around the clock, while destroying the identified targets.
After accomplishing their assigned tasks, the calculations quickly change their positions. This allows them to remain undetected by the AFU and not come under enemy return fire.
"Artillery calculations of multiple rocket launchers continuously deliver precise strikes on military equipment and manpower of Ukrainian formations. Unmanned aerial reconnaissance units (UAVs) of the Tula paratroopers constantly conduct aerial reconnaissance to identify enemy groups, as well as operational guidance and artillery adjustments to targets, destroying, at the same time, AFU combat equipment and manpower both in wooded and open terrain as they flee from populated areas," the Defense Ministry said.
On February 23, Russian fighters destroyed AFU armored vehicles with FPV drones in the Kursk border area. The footage shared by the ministry shows a selection of direct hits by Rubicon attack drones on enemy equipment and manpower. In addition, on some fragments Russian drones shot down in flight drones of the AFU. Earlier in the day, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree allocating about 44 billion rubles for payments to residents of the Kursk region who lost essential property.
