The Danish government is allocating an additional 405m Danish kroner (about $56.8m) to Kiev for humanitarian aid and reconstruction of the country. This was announced by the kingdom's Foreign Ministry on February 23.

"Sending donations worth 405 million kroner for humanitarian efforts and reconstruction. Vital assistance and necessary reconstruction directly to our European friends in Ukraine," the press service informed on the X network (former Twitter) of the department.

Under the chairmanship of Denmark, the EU may increase arms supplies to Kiev, the Russian embassy in Copenhagen said on January 27. The ministry stated that the vast majority of Danish parliamentary parties are in favor of continuing to support Ukraine. Thus, Copenhagen has already envisaged the allocation of military aid to Kiev worth about $1.3bn for 2025.
