MP called the third fight between Bivol and Beterbiev "a plus for Russia"

A third bout between Russian boxers Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev may be organized in Moscow. If the event does happen, it could be a "plus" for Russia, State Duma deputy and Olympic champion Svetlana Zhurova told RIA Novosti on February 23.

"So - why not? Now all competitions both at our place and in those countries that are ready to hold tournaments with the participation of the best Russian athletes are only to our advantage. There are such countries - those that are not afraid and want to be about sports, not about politics, especially already now," she said.

The deputy also noted the desire of the president of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev to organize a maximum of international competitions on the territory of Russia.

On the same day, Bivol announced Beterbiev's intention to demand a rematch. According to him, some time later Beterbiev approached him and expressed his desire to arrange a third fight between the two strongest Russian boxers in the light heavyweight division.
