Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who promised to make similar dreams of two young Russians - Polina from Mariupol and Matvei from Korolev near Moscow - come true before the New Year, kept his word and helped the children, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on February 23.

Polina wanted to meet the leader of Lyube band Nikolai Rastorguev, and Matvey wanted to attend a concert of the band. The first part of the wishes came true back in January, when the children were invited to the building of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where Lavrov personally introduced them to Rastorguev.

This week, on February 21, Polina and Matvey, along with their parents, went to a Lube concert at the State Kremlin Palace.

"After the concert, Polina, who in addition to singing is also fond of fine arts and drawing, presented one of their works to Nikolai Rastorguev," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

The All-Russian action "Christmas tree of wishes" has been held since 2018. It helps to fulfill the New Year's dreams of children in difficult situations, orphans, children with disabilities, as well as gifted children. In five years, the dreams of about 107 thousand children have been fulfilled.
