Unknown man threw a cat off the platform of "Swallow's Nest" in Crimea

In Crimea, police are looking for a man who threw a cat from the observation deck of the complex "Swallow's Nest", located at a height of 40 meters above the sea. This was reported by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk on February 23.
"In the course of monitoring the Internet revealed a video recording, which depicts how on the territory of the architectural and exhibition complex "Swallow's Nest" a man threw a cat from the cliff", - stated in her Telegram-channel.
Police officers are working to identify and detain the attacker.
As reported to "Izvestia" representative of the press service of the state institution "Palace-Castle "Swallow's Nest" Tatiana Levashova, the security of the complex noticed the tragedy after the fact, reviewing footage from video surveillance cameras. One of the first visitors of "Swallow's Nest" turned out to be the animal killer.
The emergency occurred around 10:00-11:00 hours. Before that, the man stroking the cat was seen by the cleaning lady. The woman asked: "Do you like animals so much?". However, she did not receive a response.
"Later, when he saw that there was no one around, he did what he did. The whole staff is in shock, because the cat was a favorite, and sometimes she was even allowed to enter the castle itself. And she is absolutely harmless, no aggression at all. One of our most such, you could say, attractions," - said Levashova.
Before that, on November 27, 2024, it was reported that a man stabbed his five-month-old puppy in Khimki near Moscow. While in the forest belt near the village of Brekhovo, the owner stabbed the puppy numerous times, from which the animal died in the veterinary clinic. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Moscow region opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cruel treatment of animals").
