Polish President Andrzej Duda waited in Washington for an hour for his American counterpart Donald Trump for a meeting that lasted 10 minutes. This was reported by Polish portal Notes From Poland (NFP) on February 22.

According to the publication, the meeting was planned to last about an hour. However, due to the fact that the US president was delayed and later had to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Duda and Trump spoke for only a few minutes.

At the same time, the Polish leader said he was satisfied with the dialog that took place. According to Duda, they had time to discuss all the topics that were important to him.

It became known on February 21 that Duda and Trump would meet to discuss the conflict in Ukraine. It was specified that the conversation will take place on the sidelines of the CPAC in Washington.

On February 22, Trump said that on Tuesday, February 25, in Saudi Arabia will be held new negotiations between the United States and Russia on the Ukrainian conflict. He said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin are also expected to meet to "make an agreement."
