Last year, the Czech Republic sent Ukraine about 1.5m units of artillery ammunition of different calibers. This was reported by the spokesman of the Czech Ministry of Defense David Shimu on February 23.

"This includes about 500 thousand units of 155-mm artillery ammunition," - quotes him radio station iROZHLAS.

It is noted that Prague has provided Kiev with tens of thousands of large-caliber ammunition in recent months. Shimu added that at the moment negotiations are underway with partners on additional funding to continue supporting Ukraine.

The Telegraph newspaper reported on 21 February that on Monday, 24 February, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer may announce an additional military aid package for Ukraine, as well as the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions.
