Rapper ST (real name - Alexander Stepanov) shared on Sunday, February 23, that his new composition "About Victory", dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland, is inspired by war songs from his childhood.

"I wanted to release such a big song this year, dedicated to victory, to the holiday, among other things, inspired by all the war songs I heard as a child, sung by my parents and grandparents. This song is both for those who are waiting here and those who are there, it is so unifying, because victory is what unites us and faith," the musician said.

The rapper shared that he was inspired to create the song by the stories of servicemen he met while traveling to the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone. The lyrics are based on the story of a soldier at the front, who gives all his strength for the sake of victory and dreams of returning home to his beloved, whose photo he cherishes in his heart.

ST has also repeatedly admitted that the military theme is very personal for him.
