Two girls went down a slide on a tubing slide under a car in Yekaterinburg


In Yekaterinburg, two eight-year-old girls were injured after driving off a slide on a tubing and being hit by a car. This was reported on February 23 by the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region.
"Girls of eight years old, being under the supervision of parents, rolled down the slide. By tragic accident, they ended up on the roadway, where the car was driving," - stated in the message of the Department in its Telegram-channel.
It is specified that it happened on Akademika Sakharov Street on February 22 at 19:00 (17:00 Moscow time). Children are hospitalized, they are being treated. At the wheel of the car was a 55-year-old driver with 25 years of experience. He said that he was driving slowly and tried to stop abruptly when he saw the girls, but it was impossible to avoid the collision. A medical exam showed that the man was sober at the time of the accident.
The parents of the girls explained that they were riding from a safe slide, but accidentally went the wrong way - on the road.
The traffic police is conducting an inspection of the incident and will find out whether the rules of safe behavior on the road are explained to children in the school, where the injured girls study. In addition, materials on the incident will be sent to the police department of juvenile affairs, where the parents of the two girls will take measures to respond.
Earlier, on February 10, a car hit a five-year-old girl in Kogalym in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra. The driver did not miss the mother with the child at the crosswalk, and the girl was injured in the accident.
