The State Duma reminded about free gas supply to the plot for pensioners

Many benefits have been established for pensioners in Russia, including land tax deductions and free gas supply to the plot. Sergey Gavrilov, head of the State Duma committee on property issues, told RIA Novosti.
"One of the most significant support mechanisms is a tax deduction for land tax. In accordance with the current legislation, the tax base for pensioners is reduced by the cadastral value of 600 square meters. meters. Thus, if the area of the plot does not exceed six hundred square meters, the tax is not levied on it," he said.
It is specified that if the area of the property is larger, the tax is charged only on the excess of the established threshold. Such rules apply only to one land plot. It does not matter the category of land owned by the pensioner and the purpose of its use. Some regions also have norms that expand the volume of tax-free area or completely exempt pensioners from paying land tax.
"In addition to tax breaks, pensioners can participate in programs aimed at improving the infrastructural conditions of farming. For example, within the framework of social gasification, free gas supply to the boundaries of the plot is carried out," the deputy pointed out.
To participate in the program will require only the ownership of a registered residential house. In some regions pensioners receive benefits on membership fees of participants of gardening non-commercial partnerships (SNT). But the introduction of such relaxations depends primarily on the position of the SNTs themselves and varies.
"Legislative enshrinement of the right and federal recommendations to all SNTs to reduce contributions for pensioners would allow to create uniform conditions in all gardening associations and support retired gardeners," - said Sergei Gavrilov.
On February 15, the State Duma listed the main types of additional payments to pensioners. One of the key supplements are regional coefficients. They are accrued to the fixed part of the pension and are designed to compensate for difficult climatic conditions of residence. If a pensioner moves to a region with a milder climate, the amount of the supplement is reduced, and vice versa.
