A Ka-52 helicopter crew has struck personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on February 23.

In the course of the combat mission to support the units of the "North" group, the crew of the army aviation on the Ka-52 helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group struck the personnel and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian formations with air missiles.

After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps preventing the enemy's man-portable surface-to-air missiles.

The agency also specified that the advanced aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of all AFU targets.

The day before, the crew of the Su-34 supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) carried out a strike on the personnel and a stronghold of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region. It is noted that the strike was carried out on pre-scouted targets using aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).
