TheUnited States may increase its military presence in Poland. This was announced by Polish President Donald Tusk on November 22.

"I spoke with US President Donald Trump about Poland's security. He confirmed that he rather expects an increased US presence when it comes to Poland," he wrote on the X network (former Twitter).

Tusk said that Trump sincerely wants to end the conflict in Ukraine and the only way out is to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He also informed that the head of the White House intends to visit Poland.

"Trump said that we are one of the absolutely best allies - we are getting stronger, our economic cooperation is developing. Trump said he will visit Poland, the date has not yet been determined," Tusk announced.

On February 21, Tusk called on the European Union (EU) to take urgent measures to help Ukraine against the background of negotiations between the United States and Russia. In particular, he suggested financing Kiev at the expense of frozen Russian assets. He also pointed to the need to adopt new financial rules to strengthen the EU's defense. According to him, this should be done immediately.

On February 20, the Polish prime minister said that Ukraine's capitulation would mean the capitulation of the entire West. On February 17, he said that the issue of sending Polish troops to Ukraine was closed. Poland will not resort to such actions, he emphasized.
