A shooting at a U.S. Air Force base in New Mexico left a military man dead


During the shooting at the U.S. Air Force base in Albuquerque (New Mexico) killed one pilot, another was wounded. This is reported on February 22 by the Associated Press (AP) with reference to military representatives.
It is noted that the incident was not an act of terrorism or an attack.
"Security forces responded to gunfire near one of the entrances to the base. One airman died on the spot and another was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm and later discharged," AP quoted a statement from the Kirtland base as saying.
It was also reported that the shooting occurred after a "pursuit outside the base." There was no threat to local residents.
It is noted that the FBI and the city police are investigating the incident.
Earlier, on February 4, at one of the enterprises in the US state of Ohio there was a shooting in which one person was killed, five others were injured. The injured were taken to hospitals, their condition is not specified.
