Musk reminded officials to report on their progress on a weekly basis

American entrepreneur and head of the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Ilon Musk said that soon all officials will receive an email notification asking them to describe their actions last week. He published the corresponding post on February 22 in the social network X (formerly Tiwtter).
"As directed by U.S. President Donald Trump, all federal employees will soon receive an email asking them to explain what they did last week," he wrote.
Musk also noted that refusal to provide the information would be considered a resignation.
Earlier on February 20, a federal judge allowed President Trump's administration to proceed with the mass layoffs. The lawsuits must be filed with the federal Labor Relations Board, he said.
