The film "Dreams" by Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud has won the "Golden Bear" - the main award of the 75th International Berlin Film Festival. This was reported by the publication De Standaard on Saturday, February 22.

The film is the last part of a trilogy devoted to the study of human relationships. The main character is a girl who keeps a personal diary in which she writes about her love for her teacher.

"Blue Path" directed by Brazilian director Gabriel Mascaro won the Grand Jury Prize. Ivan Funda's "The Message" received a special mention from the jury.

Chinese director Huo Meng was recognized as Best Director for his film "To Live on This Earth".

The Silver Bear Award for Best Screenplay went to Romanian director Radu Jude for his film "Continental 25". For Best Supporting Actor - actor Andrew Scott for his role in "Blue Moon" by Richard Linklater. For outstanding creative contribution - director Lucille Hadzihalilovic for her work on the movie "The Tower of Ice".

Earlier, on February 16, American actor Adrien Brody, who played the main character in the film "The Brutalist", won the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award in the category "Best Actor", and actress Madison Mikey won the nomination "Best Actress" for her performance in the film "Anora".
