Dubai's Crown Prince parachuted from the tallest skyscraper in the world


Deputy Prime Minister and head of the UAE Ministry of Defense, Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum jumped with a parachute from the world's tallest building - the Dubai skyscraper "Burj Khalifa". The video of the jump on February 22 was published on the prince's personal page in the social network Instagram (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in Russia, banned).
It is specified that Sheikh Hamdan, along with 31 athletes from 15 countries, made a jump from a platform installed six meters above the 139th floor of the building.
The post with the video of the jump in the account of the prince has already gained almost 5 million views.
Earlier, on October 2, 2023, 104-year-old Chicago resident Dorothy Hoffner made a parachute jump to enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest skydiver. The jump was performed in tandem with an instructor from a height of about 4.1 thousand meters, it lasted about seven minutes.
