Boxer Tetteh expressed his enthusiastic impressions of his stay in Russian Federation

Ghanaian boxer Ebenezer Tetteh, who is to fight Russian Sergey Kuzmin in the tournament "REN TV Fight Club," told Izvestia on his arrival in Yoshkar-Ola on February 22 that Russia is a beautiful country, the likes of which he has never seen.

The athlete looked tired, but said he felt good and calmly endured the flight.

"Today I will rest and tomorrow I will start training. I like Russia. It's a beautiful country. I have not seen such a country yet," Tetteh noted.

The Ghanaian resident said that it was the third time he flew to Russia. As for the opponent in the upcoming tournament, Tetteh noted that he calmly perceived the replacement of boxer Alexei Papin with Sergey Kuzmin. Adding that he has nothing against it.

Earlier in the day, Tetteh promised to put on a spectacular fight with Kuzmin in Yoshkar-Ola, adding that the two of them would "make a lot of noise." Kuzmin, for his part, told Izvestia correspondent Natalia Oskerko that he learned about the upcoming fight only 12 days in advance, but he didn't have to break his training schedule.

Sports commentator Alexander Sadokov suggested that Kuzmin could knock out his Ghanaian opponent as part of the REN TV Fight Club tournament. He noted that both boxers are natural heavyweights who can end the fight by knockout in the first round. Thus, Tetteh has 20-odd fights, of which only two defeats from super top boxers. Kuzmin had 22 fights, having 19 victories, 16 of them by knockout.

The new tournament "Fight Club REN TV" will be held on February 28, in the ice palace "Mari El" Yoshkar-Ola. In one of the most expected fights will take part Sergey Kuzmin and Ebenezer Tetteh. Besides them Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias will step into the ring, and Sergey Sergeyev will fight against Jorge Manuel Soto.
