In New Moscow, a 26-year-old woman hit a 12-year-old girl at a crosswalk. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the capital on February 22.

The incident occurred on Central Street in the village of Ptichnoye. The driver of the car "Audi", moving along the road, hit the girl, who was crossing the street at a crosswalk. From the impact the schoolgirl was thrown to the oncoming car.

"Bringing the driver to criminal responsibility under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation by a person driving a car, traffic rules, resulting in negligent infliction of serious harm to health) on control in the Prosecutor's office of the Troitsk and Novomoskovsk administrative districts" - noted in the Prosecutor's office in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that as a result of the accident the girl was hospitalized, her health was seriously injured. About her current state of information is not available.

Earlier, on February 5, it was reported that in Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk region) under the wheels of a foreign car hit an 11-year-old boy crossing the road on a crosswalk. The 42-year-old driver of a Toyota Caldina, driving through the intersection, hit the child, who began to cross the roadway at the permitted traffic signal.
