Boxer Tetteh promised to "make some noise" in his bout with Kuzminin

Ghanaian boxer Ebenezer Tetteh promised to stage a spectacular fight with Russian Sergey Kuzmin in the framework of "REN TV Fight Club" in Yoshkar-Ola.

Tetteh said that he trained thoroughly before the upcoming fight, but is confident that his opponent should not be underestimated either.

"I prepared very well. And he (Kuzmin. - Ed.) should also come very well prepared. When iron and iron meet, we will make a lot of noise," - said the boxer from Ghana.

Kuzmin, in turn, told Izvestia correspondent Natalia Oskerko that he learned about the upcoming fight only 12 days in advance, but he did not have to break his training schedule. Now he is at the peak of his form, although he is a bit excited for the upcoming meeting.

"Of course, with any fight there is always excitement, which ignites and rekindles the fire in me," - remarked the European boxing champion.

The format of the upcoming fight is six rounds of three minutes, but when it comes to the heavyweight division, it's all about one punch. The Russian's punch is literally "stunning" - 1,000 kilograms with his right hand and 750 kilograms with his left. Kuzmin has fought 22 fights, winning 19 fights, 16 of them by knockout.

"I like to torture my opponents. As a soup boiling, all the ingredients are added, and at the end - once - the cherry on the cake," - shared Kuzmin.

The chances of the opponents are again roughly equal

Earlier on February 22, sports commentator Alexander Sadokov suggested that Kuzmin can knock out his opponent from Ghana in the tournament "Fight Club REN TV". He noted that both boxers are natural heavyweights who can send in a knockout in the first round. Thus, Tetteh has 20-odd fights, of which only two defeats from super top boxers.

The new tournament "Fight Club REN TV" will be held on February 28, in the Ice Palace "Mari El" Yoshkar-Ola. In one of the most expected fights will take part Sergey Kuzmin and Ebenezer Tetteh. Besides them Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias will step into the ring, and Sergey Sergeyev will fight against Jorge Manuel Soto.
