Media reported on Ukraine's new proposals on mineral deal with US

The Ukrainian side has made changes to the text of the agreement on minerals and handed them over to the USA, but the terms of further steps have not been determined yet. This was reported on February 22 by Fox News journalist Nana Sajaya in the social network X, citing a source involved in the negotiations.
"A source involved in the negotiations on the mineral deal told me that the Ukrainian side has made proposals on the text of the agreement and sent it to the American side," Sajaya wrote.
Also, according to the journalist, if the document is agreed, it will be signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
Earlier on February 22, the British TV channel Sky News, citing a Ukrainian source, said that Zelensky is not ready to conclude a deal with the United States on the extraction of rare earth metals, as Kiev found "a number of problematic issues" in the draft agreement.
US President Donald Trump said on February 21 that he had warned Ukraine of problems if it refused to sign a rare earth minerals deal. Later, the head of state expressed doubts about Kiev's availability of resources.
