Boxer Roy Jones flew to Kazan before his visit to Yoshkar-Ola


On February 22, American boxer Roy Jones flew to Kazan before his visit to Yoshkar-Ola on the eve of the new tournament of REN TV's Fight Club.
At the airport, the athlete was greeted by a large group of people. Girls in national costumes treated him to a traditional Tatar dessert - chak-chak.
"The flight was long, but I'm fine. The flight was delayed a few times, but I'm fine. I always like to come back here to Russia, so everything is good," Jones revealed.
The boxer added that he is looking forward to traveling to Yoshkar-Ola for "REN TV Fight Club." He expressed confidence that the fights at the tournament will be exciting.
"When you do wrestling, boxing or anything else, it's always exciting and fun," he noted.
Jones announced a visit to Yoshkar-Ola on February 20. He plans to visit the head of the republic, Yuri Zaitsev, and discuss several issues with him, including the progress of preparations for the next boxing tournament.
The new tournament of REN TV Fight Club will be held on February 28 in the ice palace "Mari El" Yoshkar-Ola. In one of the most expected fights will take part Sergey Kuzmin and Ebenezer Tetteh. Besides them Igor Sviridchenkov and Roniel Iglesias will step into the ring, and Sergey Sergeyev will fight against Jorge Manuel Soto.
