Su-34 crew strikes AFU stronghold in Kursk border area


The crew of a Su-34 supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has carried out a strike on personnel and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on February 22.
It is noted that the strike was carried out on pre-scouted targets using aircraft bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).
"Having received confirmation from intelligence about the destruction of personnel and a stronghold of the AFU, the crew returned safely to the airfield of departure," the report says.
Before that, the crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Armed Forces launched a strike on the AFU personnel and equipment accumulation in the border area of Kursk region on February 19.
Also on February 18, the crew of an Mi-28 helicopter struck the AFU in the border area of Kursk Region. After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude, firing heat traps to prevent enemy MANPADS missiles from hitting them.
