Musk expressed support for the AdG ahead of the Bundestag elections

American businessman Ilon Musk on February 22 on his social network account X again supported the German party Alternative for Germany (AdG) on the eve of the Bundestag elections.

"AdG," Musk wrote, accompanying the message with a German flag.

The Bundestag elections will be held on February 23.

Earlier, on February 13, Friedrich Merz, leader of Germany's Christian Democratic Union (CDU), said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Musk could face consequences for supporting the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AdG) party.

On February 1, the billionaire called the AdG the country's only hope, and last December he said that only this party could be the salvation for the FRG.

On February 14, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance suggested that Europe should tolerate Musk's posts for a few months, just as the U.S. tolerated criticism from Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg for 10 years.
