Moscow prosecutor's office uncovered violations in an anticafe with minipigs


Employees of Meshchanskaya inter-district prosecutor's office revealed numerous violations in the antikafé with minipigs on Prospekt Mira in Moscow, including sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the operation of premises. This was reported by the capital agency on February 22.
It is noted that at the time of the inspection in the basement there were eight minipigs. The owner of the anticafe contains animals for the use of their cultural and entertainment events, as well as provides "services of physical contact" pigs with visitors.
"The inspectors revealed numerous violations of legislation, including non-compliance with the requirements for the use of animals in cultural and entertainment purposes, sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the operation of premises, violations of consumer rights and others", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Prosecutor's office of Moscow.
According to the results of the inspection, measures have been taken to eliminate violations of the law.
Before that, on November 18 last year, experts told "Izvestia" about the fight against the turnover of wild animals on the black market in Russia. According to the experts, it is hampered by insufficient responsibility, which includes only administrative fines. According to them, it is necessary to toughen the punishment for such entrepreneurial activity. They specified that over the past year, more than 200 reports of violations were sent to the controlling authorities.
