Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. The Defense Ministry reported that the Novolubovka settlement in the LNR was liberated by units of the "West" group of troops.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) amounted to over 200 military personnel.

Russian forces also destroyed three electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot of the enemy.

In addition, the air defense forces destroyed a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian air forces, two French Hammer guided bombs and two rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS).

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 656 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 44,190 drones, 596 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,698 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,521 multiple rocket launchers, 21,948 field artillery and mortars, 32,033 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
