Moscow schoolchildren handed over letters and gifts to the Main Hospital of the Russian Federal Guard for the participants of the special military operation (SMO) who are being treated and rehabilitated. This was reported in the department on February 22.
Schoolchildren congratulated the military on Defender of the Fatherland Day, and thanked them for their service to the motherland and wished them health.
"The feeling of care and home warmth speeds up recovery, strengthens our faith in the right cause," - said a serviceman of the Rosguard Viktor.
Earlier, on February 21, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin said that Muscovites collected more than 30 thousand gifts for the participants of the SVO for the Day of Defender of the Fatherland. Among them - warm clothes, care products, sweets, as well as cards with wishes and words of support. The action was held at more than 50 sites throughout the city. It was attended not only by residents, but also by organizations: schools and colleges, state institutions and enterprises, and commercial companies.
