More than half of Poles polled opposed military aid to Kiev

Fifty-three percent of Polish respondents oppose arms supplies to Ukraine. This was confirmed on 22 February by the data of a survey conducted by the Opinia24 center at the request of the Radio Zet radio station.
The survey was conducted between January 23 and 29 this year among a thousand Poles aged 18 and older.
When asked whether Warsaw should provide Kiev with more weapons as part of the ongoing conflict, 27% of respondents said "definitely not", while 26% of those surveyed gave the answer "probably not". In total, 53% of Poles were against supporting Ukraine.
29% of Poles were in favor of continuing to provide Kiev with military aid, while another 17% did not express an opinion on the issue.
The Bloomberg news agency reported on 22 February that the EU was negotiating a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 20bn euros. It is noted that the package will include artillery ammunition, air defence systems, precision-guided missiles, drones and other types of weapons.
