Air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the Kursk region

Russian air defenses have destroyed one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 22.

"In the morning of February 22 this year at about 06:00 Moscow time, on-duty air defense means destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Kursk region," the ministry said.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry said that last night air defense forces intercepted and destroyed two Ukrainian drones over Rostov and Voronezh regions.

On February 20, four hours air defense forces shot down 28 drones of the AFU. Thus, 19 drones were shot down over the Krasnodar region, eight over the Sea of Azov, and one over the Belgorod region. Later in the day, two drones were destroyed over the territory of Crimea.
