The debt of Google LCC under the decisions of Russian judges has exceeded 21.5 billion rubles. This follows from the information of the Data Bank of enforcement proceedings.

It was reported that seven enforcement proceedings were opened against the company for the recovery of fines amounting to 21 billion rubles. They came from the Tagansky and Presnensky district courts of Moscow, as well as from Roskomnadzor.

In addition, another 16 enforcement proceedings were opened on the basis of the decision of the Arbitration Court of the capital, the amount of the fine exceeds 324 million rubles. In addition, the company must also pay the enforcement fee in the amount of 220 thousand rubles.

Thus, the total amount of claims, including fines and additional payments amounted to Br21,543,273,686.

January 29, RBC reported that the amount of claims of 17 Russian TV channels to Google by mid-January reached 1.81 duodecillion rubles (a unit with 39 zeros). The publication specifies that Google had accumulated such a debt by January 15 due to its refusal to restore media accounts from Russia on YouTube. According to the publication, the debt will increase every day due to delays in its payment. It is noted that this amount has long exceeded the entire GDP of the world, so the parties will have to find another way to resolve the dispute.

The lawsuits of Russian media with Google began in 2020 after YouTube blocked the hosting accounts of several TV channels.

On January 14, the Chertanovsky District Court of Moscow fined the American company more than 8 billion rubles for evading an administrative penalty (part 1 of Article 20.25 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).
