The PRC noted the positive dynamics of Russian-Chinese relations

Russian-Chinese relations will reach a new level and work for further stabilization of international relations, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin said at the presentation of the report "Russian-Chinese relations in a new era". This is stated on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry on Friday, February 21.
"Liu Bin noted that over the past three quarters of a century, Sino-Russian relations have experienced ups and downs, but have always maintained a trend of growth and forward movement. Entering a new era, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin have firmly grasped the right direction of Sino-Russian relations," the publication said.
The diplomat emphasized that China and Russia are permanent members of the UN Security Council (UNSC), which, in turn, entails a certain responsibility. He assured that the countries advocate dialog as the basis of international relations against any confrontation, as well as promote the ideas of multipolarity of the world.
"No matter how the international environment changes, China and Russia will not be afraid of wind and rain, stick to their original aspirations, take responsibility, bring more benefits to the people of both countries and make greater contributions to world peace and stability," Liu Bin said.
Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov also delivered a speech at the press conference.
Earlier, on February 19, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia and China continue to strengthen cooperation in culture and cinema, stressing that a joint Russian-Chinese film "Red Silk" will be released soon.
