An empty train platform derailed in the Novosibirsk region

In the Novosibirsk region on the night of February 22, one empty platform in a freight train derailed on the West Siberian Railway (WSR). This is reported in the Telegram-channel of the management of the ZSZhD.

The derailment occurred at 03:27 (23:27 Moscow time) at Barabinsk station. The reasons for the incident are being established.

It is noted that there are no casualties as a result of the incident. The movement of other trains was not affected by the situation. In addition, specialists of the recovery train are working on the site.

Earlier, on February 15, three people were injured as a result of a collision of an electric train and a truck in the Bryansk region. The incident occurred at the crossing between Brasovo and Komarichi stations.
