Verkhovna Rada MP Andriy Dubynskyy, who is in a detention center in Kiev, has announced his candidacy for the post of the Ukrainian president. He said this in his Telegram channel on February 21.

"To remain silent now means to prolong the conflict for another five years, until 2030. This is unacceptable. Therefore, I, Alexander Dubinsky, born in 1981, a native of Kiev, declare: I nominate my candidacy for the post of President of Ukraine," the MP said.

With his next post, he published a poll asking voters to decide who Ukrainian voters would vote for. 92% of the 14,067 participants declared their support for Dubinsky.

"The results of these votes will show whether Ukraine needs an alternative. If we remain silent today - tomorrow there may be no Ukraine," he concluded.

On February 19, Dubinskyy pointed to the "black mark" issued to Zelenskyy and also predicted a quick end to the era of his presidency.
