The Russian government has approved a strategy for presenting Russia's achievements at key international venues, an order to this effect was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on February 21.

"To approve the attached strategy of presentation at key international events of the achievements of the Russian Federation in various sectors of the economy and culture," the document says.

To provide a report on the progress of the development of the strategy is entrusted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia annually before February 1. The realization of the strategy to promote the achievements of the Russian Federation abroad should increase the efficiency of the country's foreign economic cooperation.

The goals of the strategy include, among other things, "demonstration of the positive role of the Russian Federation in the world, contributing to the formation of a more equitable world order". As well as conveying the values of a new world based on justice and equality of peoples and their mutual respect.

Other tasks include the promotion of the Russian language, goods and services, as well as increasing the tourist attractiveness of Russia.

Also on this day, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out during the plenary session of the Future Technologies Forum that Russian national producers should be given a certain advantage in case foreign companies return to the Russian market.
