Trump called his contacts with Ukraine 'not very good'

US President Donald Trump said at a meeting with state governors on Friday, February 21, that he had a very good conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while contacts with Ukraine cannot be called such.
"I had very good talks with Putin," Trump said, his words quoted by The Washington Post, citing the White House press pool.
He added that they were followed by "not so good" contacts with the Ukrainian side. The American president pointed out that Kiev demonstrates toughness only in words, but does not have a lot of trump cards on its hands.
Earlier in the day, the Axios portal reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was too used to the fact that the previous American leader Joe Biden supported him in everything, and NATO countries constantly helped him, and now the head of the Kiev regime is "overreacting". In particular, he allows himself personal insults against the American president.
The American newspaper The Hill reported on February 20 that Ukrainian MPs and officials consider the initial public conflict between Trump and Zelensky to be a disaster. It was specified that the aggravation of their relations was caused by the American leader's criticism of the Ukrainian president's mistakes, who responded by saying that Trump was "in a bubble of misinformation".
The Russian president held a telephone conversation with the American leader on February 12. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the two leaders discussed many topics, including the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
