Five public spaces will be improved in Irkutsk

In Irkutsk in 2025 it is planned to improve five public spaces. This is reported by the city administration.

Four objects were chosen by the citizens with the help of online voting, which took place last year. These are Dekabristov Square, the territory of the tank "Irkutsk Komsomolets", "Health Alley" on Rosa Luxemburg Street, as well as the park "Komsomolsky", where the fourth stage of renovation is planned.

The fifth public space is the territory in the northern part of Yunost Island. This project also won the vote for improvement projects, but in 2021.

As IrkutskMedia IA specifies, all projects envisage landscaping, pavement arrangement, creation of convenient pedestrian routes and recreation areas, installation of park lighting and installation of small architectural forms.

Voting for the projects to be landscaped in 2026 will take place in the spring. Last year, more than 81 thousand Irkutsk residents took part in the voting.
