A second wind screen will be built in the port of Vanino (Khabarovsk Territory) in 2025. This is reported by Daltransugol JSC in its Telegram channel.

The shield will protect Toki settlement and the port water area from wind-borne coal dust. The length of the metal structure will be 822 meters, height - 25 meters, and it will consist of 27 thousand perforated panels.

"We have erected 160 bored piles with a diameter of 1.2 meters each. They go up to 7 meters deep. This will ensure the stability of the 25-meter-high screen structure, which will be subjected to a large wind load during operation," said Anton Vyshkvarka, Chief Engineer of the North-West Department of TeploKhimMontazh Contractor Company.

As PrimaMedia IA specifies, Daltransugol put the first wind screen into operation in 2024. Its length amounted to 855 meters. In the future, it is planned to build two more such screens, the total length of all four enclosing structures will be 2.5 thousand meters.
