Waltz expressed confidence in Zelensky's acceptance of the U.S. fossil deal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will sign an agreement with the USA on minerals. This was announced on February 21 by the American president's national security aide Mike Waltz.
"Look, the bottom line is that President Zelensky will sign this deal, and you'll see it in the near future, and that's good for Ukraine," the Politico newspaper quoted his statement as saying.
The publication recalled that the American leader Donald Trump called this deal one of the points of his plan to prevent the Ukrainian conflict.
Earlier, on February 20, it was reported that Trump may try to conclude a simplified agreement on obtaining minerals from Ukraine. On the same day, he said Kiev had derailed the rare earth metals deal. According to him, the USA handed over $350 billion in aid to Ukraine and now cannot get the money back.
