FAS initiated antimonopoly proceedings over the cost of water at Vnukovo airport

The Moscow Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (UFAS) has initiated proceedings over the cost of drinking water in Vnukovo, the service said on February 21.

"The department initiated antimonopoly cases against the operator of duty-free and duty-free stores Regstaer-M LLC on the grounds of establishing monopolistically high prices for drinking water in "sterile" zones of Vnukovo airport", - stated in the message.

In the process of studying the cases, the antimonopoly authority will check the validity of prices for drinking water within two isolated zones (domestic and international departures) of the Moscow airport.

If the actions of Regstar-M LLC are confirmed to be in violation of the antimonopoly legislation, the company will be issued binding orders to reduce the cost of drinking water, and fines will be imposed.
