Desert Stalker game first blocked on Steam for Russians

Roskomnadzor has blocked Desert Stalker in Steam for Russians, the service told Izvestia on February 21. This is the first precedent of blocking the game on this service.

"On the Steam web page dedicated to the game Desert Stalker, materials promoting non-traditional sexual relations have been identified," they specified there.

At the same time in Roskomnadzor added that there are no plans to limit the work of Steam.

"Steam has fulfilled the requirements of the law on the removal of prohibited information. On the resources of the service there are no materials that were not removed at the request of Roskomnadzor. Restriction of the work of the service is not planned," - emphasized in the service.

Such resources, among others, contained information about gambling (252.6 thousand materials), pro-drug content (111.6 thousand), content of extremist and terrorist nature (42.6 thousand), unreliable information of public importance, including about special military operation (40.1 thousand).
