The Ministry of Justice has added journalist Agalakova and TV presenter Lirnik to the register of foreign agents

The Russian Justice Ministry has added journalists Zhanna Agalakova and Ilya Azar, as well as Ukrainian TV presenter and showman Artem Lirnik to the register of foreign agents. The corresponding information appeared on the official website of the agency on February 21.

The list also includes blogger Rustem Adagamov and publicist Elizaveta Aleksandrova-Zorina. All the persons mentioned in the publication live abroad, with the exception of Lirnik.

It is noted that they were all engaged in the dissemination of materials of foreign agents, inaccurate information about the decisions taken by Russian public authorities, as well as opposed to the special military operation in Ukraine.

In addition, Adagamov and Azar disseminated information that formed a negative image of the Russian Armed Forces, the statement said.

Earlier, on February 14, , the Justice Ministry added sociologist Lev Gudkov, journalists Sergey Auslender and Nikita Parmenov, blogger Alexei Kungurov and former Russian diplomat Boris Bondarev to the register of foreign agents.
