Zakharova reacted to Macron's video with wrong map of Ukraine

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reacted in her Telegram channel on February 21 to the incident with an upside-down map of Ukraine, which French President Emmanuel Macron showed live on BFM TV.

"Apparently, by showing an upside-down map of Ukraine, Macron wanted to clarify that their plan to 'inflict a strategic defeat on Russia' has been realized upside down and everything is upside down," the diplomat wrote.

She also noted users' comments that recalled German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock's caveat about a "360-degree turn." Zakharova called this comment the best.
