In Ust-Kut urban settlement in the Irkutsk region, a local resident was injured while trying to extinguish a household building that caught fire. This was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in its Telegram channel on Friday, February 21.

The fire occurred on the territory of the house on Sedova Street. According to the rescue agency, a 59-year-old man flooded the furnace in the outbuilding and went to a nearby house. When he returned, he found that the structure was already engulfed in fire.
