Russia is ready to consider cooperation with Boeing on the purchase of titanium if the US manufacturer is ready. This was announced to journalists on February 21 by Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

"When Boeing made the decision to leave the titanium valley, where the corresponding capacities for processing primary titanium were actually created, they bought in large quantities not just "blanks", but finished products, finished parts for their airplane. If they are ready to return, we are ready to consider it," TASS quoted him as saying.

Manturov recalled that cooperation between Russia and Boeing had long been traditional before the Special Military Operation (SMO).

Earlier, on February 20, Manturov said that only those foreign companies that Russia deems useful for itself will be allowed to enter the Russian market. The deputy prime minister added that in working on projects with foreigners in Russia, conditions have been formed for localization, technology transfer and control of Russian participants over the implementation of these plans.
