Cybersecurity solutions enable the development of the congress and exhibition industry

In its activities, the Roscongress Foundation relies on the best domestic practices, including cybersecurity solutions. Every year, cooperation with Russian market leaders in this area becomes closer. Since 2024, the Foundation has been cooperating on cybersecurity issues with the digital risk management company BI.ZONE.

"Protection of the state, society and citizens from fraudsters using digital technologies, development of legal and technical measures to counteract such offenses, creation of special units to investigate this type of crime - these and other goals are set out in the Concept of the state system of counteraction to unlawful acts committed with the help of information and communication technologies, which was approved in December 2024. The decision was taken in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation on national development goals. In today's environment of widespread cybercrime, the protection of personal data of participants and guests of the country's largest congress and exhibition events and other personal information is of particular importance. I am confident that thanks to new data protection technologies developed in Russia, such violations will be minimized," said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation.

The creation of a system of effective counteraction to crimes committed with the help of information and communication technologies is one of the indicators of achieving the national development goal "Digital Transformation of State and Municipal Administration, Economy and Social Sphere". This indicator was approved by the relevant decree of the President of the Russian Federation in May 2024.

"Threats in the digital environment are becoming more and more numerous. We must stay one step ahead and be ready for any type of attack, because one of our main tasks is to ensure the comfort of event participants and build a space of complete trust, including in the online environment," emphasized Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board, Director of the Roscongress Foundation.

Digital solutions for personal data protection are used at all major congress and exhibition events held in Russia, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum, the Russian Energy Week, the Congress of Young Scientists, the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum and other forums and discussion platforms.
