The Forum of Future Technologies presents the latest domestic developments


Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, inspected the exhibition of the Future Technologies Forum, which is taking place in Moscow on February 20-21.
The exposition of the Forum gathered the developments of high-tech enterprises and startups from all over the country - the achievements are presented at the stands of the largest corporations that develop knowledge-intensive production.
"The joint work of representatives of science, business and government is of key importance in achieving Russia's technological leadership - a national goal set by President Vladimir Putin. The Future Technologies Forum exhibition shows vivid examples of such interaction. It presents dozens of the latest domestic developments, which are being implemented in industrial production and have a high export potential," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia presented the national project "New Materials and Chemistry" at the Forum. At the stand of the Ministry there were placed the developments and samples in four directions of the national project: chemistry, biotechnology, composites and rare-earth metals. Among the exhibits were shown absorbent carbon dressing for healing of open wounds and burns; synthetic prostheses of blood vessels, allowing to replace critically affected areas of blood vessels in atherosclerosis, aneurysm, thrombosis; polymeric materials for the manufacture of bone substitute products, close in properties to human bone tissue; samples of raw biomass obtained from medicinal plants without harming the environment; innovative fertilizers; composite materials based on carbon fiber and thermoplastics, which are used in aviation, UAV construction, automotive industry, as well as products made of rare and rare-earth metals, which are used in high-tech products, and other developments.
"It is crucial that Russia ensures its sovereignty, including mining, for the needs of our industry. It is also important to form directions and invest in science: processing of these materials and creation of technologies based on them," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
At the stand of the Moscow Government Dmitry Chernyshenko was presented samples of the latest materials and products manufactured at Moscow enterprises. Among them are lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries, composite panels, carbon fibers, innovative construction materials and many other things. For example, prototypes of implants for bone tissue restoration, bio-coated forearm and hip joint prostheses and microprocessor-controlled knee modules used in regenerative medicine and surgery are on display.
At the stand, Dmitry Chernyshenko made a number of suggestions on how digital technologies can help scientists in their work.
